Bosphorus Padel Cup

While he waits for me courtside, I lose myself in the game—in the excitement of a match, the conversations between games, and the pleasure of seeing familiar faces again. Over time, I realised that what keeps bringing me back is not just padel, but the life we share around it.

That excitement has become part of my travels, too. Discovering padel clubs in the countries I visit, meeting new players, and sharing a court with people I have only just met brings me a special kind of joy. Whether in London, Monaco, or Milan, every court holds a different story. Sometimes I make room for padel in my itinerary; sometimes padel is the very reason for the trip. Each experience reminds me how naturally a shared game can bring people together.

Bosphorus Padel Cup was born from a desire to share that feeling with more people.

I believe padel is more than a sport. It is an experience that brings people together, creates opportunities for new connections, and makes the time we spend with one another more meaningful. I wanted to bring the sense of connection I had found on courts in different cities to Istanbul, through an event with a character and story of its own.

In creating Bosphorus Padel Cup, I imagined an event that would reach beyond the court, bringing people with different interests together through a shared enthusiasm. From tournament matches and inspiring conversations to brand experiences and celebrations accompanied by music, I wanted to create a gathering you would look forward to attending—whether to play, to watch, or simply to be part of the atmosphere.

My hope is that this inaugural gathering, brought to life together with ALEM on World Padel Day, will mark the beginning of a tradition—one that grows over time and gathers new stories with every edition.
